Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. Who we are

This website (calmthestormbook.com) is operated by Anthony Hulse, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the site or purchasing any product from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. The product

We sell Calm The Storm, a digital book and supporting educational materials about nervous-system regulation for fibromyalgia and chronic pain. All content is educational only and does not constitute medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider before changing how you manage your condition.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not: (a) use it for any unlawful purpose, (b) commit fraud or send spam, (c) infringe intellectual property rights, (d) attempt to interfere with the security of the service (including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping), or (e) resell or redistribute the materials.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the site and in the book — including text, design, branding, and software — is owned by Anthony Hulse and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use purchased materials for your personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Service availability

We do our best to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

6. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our specific refund window.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated violations of our policies.

8. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
